Gilded Goddess Series

Welcome to the Gilded Goddess series, the first installment in a trilogy dedicated to the beauty of the Pan-Afrian Diaspora.​

I intentionally painted each goddess in this inaugural collection faceless. The intention is to strip away the noise of a single standard of beauty and focus entirely on the energy a person carries. It is a reminder that our beauty is ancestral, spiritual, and always more than skin deep.

My goal is to spark a necessary conversation about how we perceive and celebrate women of color. I believe that by flooding our spaces with images of power, poise and the regal surreal, we shift the narrative toward the reverence these women deserve.
